Return Policy.

User acknowledges that return is provided by respective sellers directly under this policy in terms of which return, refund, exchange and/or replacement of goods are provided by seller to their respective buyers. All products listed under a particular category may not have the same returns policy. For all the products users may refer to return policy provided on the product page which shall prevail over general return policy. The general return policy will only be applicable if return policy is not provided on the product page. Most items purchased from sellers listed on EaseKaam are returnable within the return window, except those that are explicitly identified as not returnable.

 

General Returns Policy

 

For successful return, refund, exchange and/or replacement of a product the following conditions must be fulfilled:-

 

  1. The request for return or exchange or replacement should be made within the time span mentioned in the product page or within the days mentioned in the table below for particular category of product.

 

  1. Product can be returned or exchanged or replaced within the applicable return window if Buyer has received them in a condition that is physically damaged, has missing parts or accessories, defective or different from their description on the product detail page on EaseKaam.

 

  1. The product will be returned or exchanged or replaced in original condition (with brand’s/manufacturer’s box, MRP tags intact, user manual, warranty card and all the accessories therein).

 

  1. The product should not have been used or should not have any dirt or scratches or tear or in short should not be rendered unsellable;

 

  1. The product image can differ from the original product slightly because of the colour comparisons from a picture to original product, which is entitled for return or exchange.

 

  1. Buyer will need to ensure that while returning or exchanging an electronic device that stores any personal information, all personal information from the device should be cleared prior to its dispatch.

 

  1. During open box deliveries, while accepting order, if the buyer receives a different or a damaged product, buyer will be given a refund (on the spot refunds for cash-on-delivery orders). Once buyer has accepted an open box delivery, no return request will be processed, except for manufacturing defects. In such cases, this category-specific replacement/ return/exchange general conditions will be applicable.

 

  1. For products where installation is provided by the seller or its service partners, buyers are advised not to open the product packaging by themself. Authorised personnel of behalf of the seller or its service partner shall help in unboxing and installation of the product.

 

  1. For Furniture, any product related issues will be checked by authorised service personnel of the seller/service provider and attempted to be resolved by replacing the faulty/ defective part of the product. Full replacement will be provided only in cases where the service personnel is of the opinion that replacing the faulty/defective part will not resolve the issue.

 

  1. Buyer need to mention order number, the date of order and date of receipt;

 

  1. The return or exchange or replacement process will be initiated only after the seller has received the product/s in the condition as mentioned above.

 

  1. Once the seller has received back the product according to the Return Policy, the buyers can either get a refund, if this is not applicable, the buyer can exchange or replace the purchase product for a different product of the same value or a higher value.

 

  1. All exchanges or replacements are subject to stock availability with the seller and subject to buyer’s address being serviceable for an exchange.

 

  1. Item cannot be exchanged for multiple products and buyer is allowed to select single item for exchange. While buyer can exchange multiple item at a time by initiating separate exchange request for each of the item.

 

  1. Non- returnable products/categories cannot be returned or exchanged or replaced.

 

  1. Additional information will not be required to return or exchange an eligible order unless otherwise noted in the category specific policy.

 

  1. Net amount paid by buyer (excluding instant cashback/discount) to purchase original item will be considered to calculate difference in amount of original and exchanged item which will be payable by buyer or refundable by seller as the case may be, for an exchange.

 

  1. Products may not be eligible for return or exchange or replacement in some cases, including cases of buyer’s remorse such as incorrect model or colour of product ordered or incorrect product ordered.

 

  1. EaseKaam shall reserve the right to restrict return or exchange or replacement of the items purchased on the platform if buyer in any way breaches or misuse this policy, as determined in EaseKaam’s sole discretion. In case buyer has purchased an item which has a free gift/offer associated with it and buyer wish to return or exchange the main item, then buyer will have to return the free product as well.

 

  1. EaseKaam will not be liable for the products returned or exchanged by mistake. In circumstances where an extra or a different product is returned by mistake, EaseKaam would not be accountable for misplacement or replacement of the product and is not responsible for its delivery back to the buyer.

 

  1. In certain cases where the pickup option is not available by the third party (shipping partner) or seller, buyer have to self-ship returns, kindly pack the items securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. For all self-shipped returns, EaseKaam recommend users to use a reliable courier service.

 

  1. If buyer self-ships his returns, the shipping costs would be reimbursed by the seller subject to the return having met our Return Policy and the image of the courier receipt is shared by buyer and validated by EaseKaam and its seller. For self ship returns the refund for returned products will only be initiated if they pass through a quality check conducted by the seller. If the quality check fails the product will be reshipped back to buyer.

 

  1. The buyer can also return or exchange or replace the product directly with the seller by visiting seller’s outlet. If the buyer chooses this option, the seller will have the sole discretion to check that all the return/exchange/replacement conditions are fulfilled and EaseKaam will not be in position to provide assistance to the buyer.

 

  1. Except for ‘cash on delivery’ transactions, refund, if any, shall be made at the same issuing bank from where the transaction price was received, or through any other method available on the third party payment gateway’s website, as chosen by User.

 

  1. For ‘cash on delivery’ transactions, refunds, if any, will be made via Electronic payment transfers in Bank Account in accordance with the policies adopted by the third party (including delivery partners) or the sellers.

 

  1. Since EaseKaam is only a facilitator which provides a platform to its Users for buying & selling goods & services and do not play any role in transactions between the buyers and sellers, therefore all the claims pertaining to return or exchange or replacement of product will be resolved by the seller alone. Seller undertakes to comply with the Return Policy provided by it on the product page (in absence of which Seller should comply with the General Return Policy). EaseKaam will not be liable in case of any dispute arises between the buyer and seller pertaining to the Return, Exchange & Replacement of any product. However EaseKaam will provide assistance to the buyers if the buyers comply will all the provisions of the Return Policy.

 

  1. Products purchased by international customers are not eligible for returns or exchange or replacement.

 

  1. In case of wrong delivery where buyer received delivery message but the product is not delivered, buyer should report the issue within 2 days from the date of delivery confirmation for the seller/delivery partner to investigate.’

 

  1. EaseKaam can provide better assistance for Return or Exchange or Replacement of a product if the Buyer makes unboxing video of the package after the delivery. It will help in determining that –

 

  • the product was not damaged while in buyer’s possession;
  • the product is not different from what was shipped to buyer;
  • the buyer has not tempered with the product;

 

 

Note: If Buyer has received a non-returnable product in a damaged/defective condition, buyer can contact the seller within 2 days from the delivery of the product.

Non Returnable- All Wind Instruments (Harmonicas, Flutes etc.) This item is non-returnable due to hygiene and personal wellness.In case these products are delivered in damaged/defective condition or different from the ordered item, we will provide a free replacement.

In order to help Buyer resolve issues with product, Seller may troubleshoot product either through online tools, over the phone, and/or through an in-person technical visit.

If a defect is determined within the Returns Window, a Replacement of the same model will be provided at no additional cost. If no defect is confirmed or the issue is not diagnosed within 7 days of delivery, Buyer will be directed to a brand service centre to resolve any subsequent issues.

In any case, only one replacement shall be provided.

For products requiring installation, returns shall be eligible only when such products are installed by the brand’s authorized personnel.

In order to help Buyer resolve issues product, Seller may troubleshoot product either through online tools, over the phone, and/or through an in-person technical visit.

Grocery – (Dairy, Bakery, Fruits and Vegetables)

Delivery will be provided by the Seller or Self Pickup can be done by the Buyer.

Grocery – (Remaining items under grocery)

2 day Replacement only for defective products

 

Fruits and Vegetables ordered would be delivered only in the first attempt. In order to ensure that you get fresh fruits and vegetables, Delivery Partner will not be making reattempts to deliver fruits and veggies in case Buyer misses its slot. Rest of grocery items from Supermart would be delivered through reattempt in case Buyer misses its slot.

Try & Buy

10 days only in case of Manufacturing defects

Refund only

This policy shall be applicable selectively (geographical coverage, product, customer and time periods).

Try & Buy benefits shall be applicable only if the product was bought when the item was on Try & Buy. Else normal category policy shall apply on the order. In any case, only one replacement shall be provided.

No Returns categories

Amendment-

 

User acknowledge and agree that EaseKaam may, in its sole discretion, amend the EaseKaam’s Return Policy by posting the relevant amended and restated EaseKaam Return Policy on the platform and such amendments to the EaseKaam Return Policy are effective as of date of posting. Users are advised to check return policy periodically for, and read carefully, any such amended return policy. EaseKaam shall not be liable to give any prior notice to the Users for any amendments to the return policy, which in the opinion of EaseKaam, has the effect of diminishing the User’s existing rights or imposing additional obligations. User understands and hereby accepts that the decision, whether any proposed amendments to the User Agreement have the effect of diminishing the User’s existing rights or imposing additional obligations on the User, shall be decided by the EaseKaam in its sole discretion. If User do not agree to any changes to the Return Policy, User must stop accessing or using the EaseKaam platform and the services.
